Far Cry 6
Far Cry 6

Far Cry 6 is the latest installment in the Far Cry franchise, and let’s look at its ending. This action-adventure first-person shooter game developed and published by Ubisoft comes as the successor to 2018’s Far Cry 5. The game received a mixed response for its smaller improvements but was widely criticized for its aging design and lack of innovations bought into the game. Just like its successors, Far Cry 6 is also an open-world game, where players can either travel by foot or via using various water, land, and air vehicles.

The world of Far Cry 6 is divided mainly into seven regions between urban areas and dense jungles. With Far Cry 6, Ubisoft introduced a rank level system that will rank players based on their activities and highlights based on a specific region. Like previous games in the series, there are outposts that are scattered throughout the world. With the Outposts, players can kill or neutralize the enemies and reduce their dominance from a particular map. There is also new notoriety and reputation-style gameplay mechanics. In Far Cry 6, players can also construct and upgrade guerrilla bases called Camp Facilities. These camps are useful to provide useful resources. Before looking in detail about Far Cry 6 Ending, we would like to warn you that this article contains huge spoilers for the game, and if you still haven’t reached the credits screen for the game, we would like to give a warning regarding the Spoilers one last time before proceeding.

On their way to escape, Alejo gets shot and killed, while Dani and Lita escape on a fishing boat with other refugees to Miami. Unfortunately, the boat gets stopped by Antón, who reveals his son Diego Castillo was also attempting to sneak away on the boat. After his son, he orders the boat sunk by gunfire. Dani and Lita survive it, but Lita succumbs to her injuries.

Dani soon seeks out the Libertad guerilla movement, led by Clara Garcia. There Clara and the ex-spy master Juan Cortez, who is also a Libertad weapon maker, give Dani a task to contact anti-Castillo forces throughout Yara as part of uniting them and join forces to overthrow Castillo’s regime. On his mission, he comes across Diego during a foiled assassination attempt on Antón while he was addressing the public and when Dani was captured and tortured by Antón’s second-in-command, General Sánchez.

Dani was able to bond with Diego and Diego Dani by killing Sánchez and convincing Anton to let Dani free. When he gets back to the team, he learns that Clara was captured under the pretense of a parley, and he is holding her at his personal villa. Dani confronts Antón, where he tells that he has suffered from acute leukemia for 13 years.

He asks Dangeneral as he is impressed by Dani’s feats in exchange for Clara’s life. Meanwhile, Juan was covering Dani with a sniper rifle, but since he was unable to get a clear shot on Castillo, he decided to shoot Diego, but Dani knocked Diego out of the way. In response to this, Castillo kills Clara, leaving Dani as the new leader of the Libertad.

Far Cry 6 Ending Explained: What will happen in Far Cry 7?

By reading through the Far Cry 6 Ending, you already know that there isn’t much more to explain since Far Cry 6 portrayed a story that doesn’t require any additional thought process, but still, we will be looking at the ending of Far Cry 6 in detail and thus solving any of the doubts that you may still have regarding what happened at the end.

When compared to the other games in the franchise, the Far Cry 6 ending can be considered as one of the best conclusions in the Far Cry series. Along with the ending, Far Cry 6 also has some teasers for the next game in the series. At the end of the game, we saw Castillo killing himself before shooting his son. With the death of Castillo, Yara is now free of dictatorship, and the future of the country is up to the people who live there.

But by the credits screen, we could see here Juan Cortez talking with a smuggler who is buying Viviro from him. If you notice correctly, he is the same smuggler Vaas Montenegro from Far Cry 3. Since Vaas dies in Far Cry 3, we can confirm that Far Cry 6 is actually a prequel to Far Cry 3. While this doesn’t reveal much about Far Cry 7, it could be a gesture from Ubisoft that all the Far Cry games take place in the same universe.

Maybe we can consider that the next installment in the game can be a prequel to some of the games in the series and maybe show what Vaas was up to before appearing in Far Cry 3’s tropical island. But don’t take this as any kind of leaks or anything as this is pure speculation, and there are only rumors based on this. We may see a completely new story for Far Cry 7 and may not have any connection to the previous installments.
