BLACKPINK is undeniably one of the most popular K-Pop girl groups worldwide, and the musical sensation is set to come back with their latest album Born Pink. The group has set the comeback date as August 19, 2022. The news of the comeback coincided with the group’s sixth anniversary on Monday, August 8. The new album comes with a new tour, and fans are beyond excited. This will be the four-member girl group’s second full-length studio album.
Their first complete studio album came out in 2020, titled The Album. The tracklist featured six songs, including hits like How You Like That and Lovesick Girls. Born Pink: Pink Venom
A teaser video discussing the schedule of the upcoming comeback was shared on Monday, August 1. The video confirmed that the pre-release song, titled Pink Venom, would be shared in August. The following month, the new album will be officially released. The tour for the album will be set off in October 2022.
Pink Venom will be released at 10 AM KST on August 19, 2022. The music video will premiere on YouTube at the time and on select other domestic and foreign sites. Tour Locations And Dates
The tour will officially kick off in Seoul with a two-day concert on October 15 and 16, 2022. It will cover Houston and Dallas, Texas, over the rest of the month. The tour’s second leg will cover a few major cities in North America, including Atlanta, Hamilton, Chicago, and L.A. On the last day of November, the group will have a show in London. From there, they’d move to Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, and a few other European cities throughout December.
The members will continue the tour across the first six months of 2023. In January, BLACKPINK will be zigzagging across Bangkok, Hong Kong, Riyadh, and Abu Dabhi. They will take a much-needed break in February and resume the tour in March. Starting in Kuala Lampur, the group will go through Jakarta, Kaohsiung, and Manila. The penultimate lap in May will feature only Singapore. Finally, Born Pink will grace the cities of Australia in June, including Melbourne, Sydney, and Auckland.
Where To Get Tickets For The Tour?
Details of the venues in particular cities have not yet been unveiled. As a result, tickets are not available yet either. While there was some speculation about the pre-sale of the concert tickets, nothing conclusive has yet been confirmed by the Y.G. agency.
