Kyle Cooke discussed the fallout between his former best friend, Carl Radke, and Lindsay Hubbard, emphasizing that both of them are going through a difficult time. In an interview with E! News, Cooke expressed the unfortunate nature of their situation.
Cooke, the founder of Loverboy, claimed that Carl had been making considerable efforts to be respectful during their breakup. He went as far as letting Lindsay have their shared New York City apartment despite being the one to initiate the breakup. However, Cooke pointed out that this gesture essentially left Carl without a place to stay, as they both financially supported the apartment.
Cooke sympathized with Carl, saying he was navigating the situation in real time and trying to find a resolution. He also revealed that Carl and Lindsay had been seeing individual therapists as well as a couple’s therapist from the early days of their relationship. Cooke observed that their ability to communicate without a third party had deteriorated over time, which led Carl to question whether he wanted to spend the rest of his life in such a dynamic.
However, it wasn’t until three months before their planned wedding that Radke decided to end their relationship, as Cooke disclosed. In August, Page Six confirmed that Carl ended things with Lindsay while filming Season 8 of the Bravo series.
Shortly after the breakup, Lindsay expressed her feelings of betrayal and heartbreak in a poignant Instagram post. She felt humiliated by the public nature of their split and the lack of closure regarding the reasons behind it.
Despite the challenges, Lindsay appeared to be making the most of her situation, even turning her previously planned bachelorette trip into a fun girls’ weekend. Witnesses reported that at the “Winter House” Season 3 premiere party, she seemed to be in high spirits and openly avoided her ex-fiancé, Carl. He arrived at the event first, but Lindsay showed up about an hour later. While she engaged with the rest of the cast, Carl decided to make a swift exit into another room. Observers noted that Carl appeared off and somber, leaving shortly after Lindsay’s arrival.
