Jason Momoa’s recent visit to Iowa sparked a nostalgic journey down memory lane. The “Aquaman” star’s high school sweetheart, Lindsey Aaron, stood in line alongside hundreds of excited fans outside the Norwalk Fareway, as reported by CNN affiliate KCCI Des Moines.
Lindsey Aaron graciously shared some precious snapshots of her and Momoa during their high school romance at Norwalk High School. Not only did she relive those moments, but she also managed to snap a selfie with the Hollywood heartthrob during the event.
Now a real estate agent, Aaron mentioned to the station that she’s been fielding inquiries from folks interested in selling their Iowa homes to Momoa if he ever decides to invest in the market.
Hailing from Honolulu, Hawaii, Momoa and his mother made Norwalk their home after his parent’s divorce when he was just a child. The actor documented his Iowa visit on social media, expressing his heartfelt sentiments: “I missed you mahalo nui loa for always taking care of me. Your home for me.”
In one of his posts, Momoa tantalizingly shared a glimpse of the “Momoa” breakfast from Des Moines Waveland Cafe, featuring a delectable combination of hashbrowns, biscuits and gravy, two sunny-side-up eggs, and a side of bacon.
Momoa’s visit to Iowa was primarily for the promotion of his Meili Vodka, which prides itself on a sustainable distilling process that harmonizes with all four elements: fire, water, earth, and air. Their website states, “To honor the Earth, we ensure that Meili is created, sourced, and produced as ethically, environmentally friendly, and humanely as possible.”
Being a well-known environmentalist, Momoa and the Meili Vodka brand advocate for eco-friendliness. Notably, each Meili Vodka bottle is crafted from 100% recycled glass, as proudly mentioned on their website.
