Despite his past struggles with substance abuse, Evan had been residing in the facility as part of his recovery journey. Evan had made a big impact on television, even though he had stepped back from the entertainment business after 2010. He played Kyle Harmon on CSI: Miami, the son of Julia Winston and Lt. Horatio Caine, played by David Caruso. His character made his debut in the first episode of Season 6 and remained in the show for eighteen episodes in all.
Evan also played Josh Bauer, Jack Bauer’s nephew, in the sixth season of 24, who was enmeshed in the complex family drama of the show. After overcoming the evil scheme of his grandfather, his character had an appearance in ten episodes.
