Jung Kook recently launched his highly awaited solo album, Golden, and to commemorate the occasion, he delighted fans with a special surprise. The 26-year-old sensation from BTS graced the stage at TSX Entertainment on Thursday (Nov. 9), the inaugural permanent stage situated in the heart of Times Square, New York City. Donned in a stylish ensemble from Calvin Klein, Jung Kook delivered captivating performances of several tracks from Golden.
For those who couldn’t attend the live show, there was the option to catch the performance on Xbox’s Twitch channel. Viewers also had the exciting opportunity to win exclusive Jung Kook Xbox Series X consoles and Game Pass codes for their next gaming adventure.

Golden, released on Friday (Nov. 3), features Jung Kook’s chart-topping single with Latto, “Seven,” which claimed the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The album also includes a collaboration with Jack Harlow on the track “3D.” While Jung Kook appreciates the entire album, his personal favorite is “Standing Next to You,” expressing his eagerness to perform it live.
In an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, he shared, “Of course, the song itself is great, but more than that, it just allowed me to see this grandiose picture when I heard the song, and I could see myself right away performing on stage with that song. It has a very special place in my heart because the recording process was really difficult. But one thing that I would like to ask of ARMY is to not listen to it with earphones on or with their smartphone, but to listen to it loud on a loudspeaker.”
