Taylor Swift is set to bring her groundbreaking Eras Tour experience to audiences across the United States and Canada, with plans for a global streaming release in the near future. In an Instagram announcement on Monday, the 33-year-old singer revealed that Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour concert film would be available for streaming in just over two weeks, starting on her birthday, December 13. This means fans can enjoy one of the most sought-after concert experiences of the year from the comfort of their homes.
Swift shared her excitement, stating, “Well, so, basically, I have a birthday coming up, and I was thinking a fun way to celebrate the year we’ve had together would be to make The Eras Tour Concert Film available for you to watch at home!” Accompanying her post was a clip of her performance of “Wildest Dreams” from 1989 (Taylor’s Version) featured in the film.

The on-demand version, she explained, will include some of the setlist that was omitted when the film initially hit theaters globally in October. Despite the Eras Tour’s actual runtime exceeding 3 hours and 15 minutes, the concert movie was condensed to 2 hours and 45 minutes for theatrical release, leaving out several fan-favorite tracks. However, for the digital release, Swift is ensuring that these tracks are included.
Taking to Instagram again, she expressed, “Very happy to be able to tell you that the extended version of the film, including ‘Wildest Dreams,’ ‘The Archer,’ and ‘Long Live,’ will be available to rent on demand in the US, Canada, and additional countries to be announced soon starting on … you guessed it, December 13 🫶💋.”
This announcement from the “Anti-Hero” singer followed her final show of the year in São Paulo, Brazil. During this performance, Swift had special guests in the audience — the family of her late fan, Ana Clara Benevides Machado. Sadly, Benevides Machado passed away before attending Swift’s show in Rio de Janeiro earlier in the month. In a heartwarming gesture, Swift invited her family, including her father, Weiny Machado, to the final tour stop in São Paulo.

Benevides Machado fell ill at the Rio venue, receiving assistance from first responders before being transferred to a nearby hospital, where she later passed away on November 17, as announced by event organizer Time for Fun.
During the show in São Paulo, Benevides Machado’s loved ones wore matching shirts with her face on them, watching the performance from what seemed to be a VIP tent. Before the show, they had the opportunity to meet Swift, as reported by fans.
Since the premiere of The Eras Tour concert film in theaters on October 13, Swift has been overwhelmed by the positive response. The film set records for first-day ticket sales and grossed over $200 million at the global box office within the first two weeks of release. Reflecting on this success on Instagram, Swift expressed her gratitude, saying, “What a truly mind-blowing thing you’ve turned The Eras Tour Concert Film into.” She added, “I’ve been watching videos of you guys in the theaters dancing and prancing and recreating choreography, creating inside jokes, casting spells, getting engaged, and just generally creating the exact type of joyful chaos we’re known for 😇.”
