Hilary Duff has joyfully announced that she’s expecting her fourth child, marking her third with husband Matthew Koma. The 36-year-old singer shared the exciting news on Instagram, revealing a heartwarming family holiday card featuring her three children and Koma. In the photo, Duff, with a surprised expression, cradles her baby bump while her 4-year-old daughter Banks dangles from the bed and 2½-year-old daughter Mae sits on the floor with a guitar. Son Luca, 11, sits in an armchair, adding a playful touch with a video game controller, as Koma strikes a pose on the bed.
The holiday card humorously reads, “So much for silent nights. Love, the Duff-Bair-Comrie Crew.” Duff also shared individual shots of her kids on the back of the card, with a caption that reads, “Buckle up Buttercups, we’re adding one more to this crazy bunch!”
Matthew Koma echoed the excitement on his Instagram, reposting the family’s holiday photo with the caption, “Baby #4 is loading…” and humorously tagging the location as “Vasectomy clinic.”
Duff, who shares her two daughters with Koma and son Luca with ex-husband Mike Comrie, previously spoke to PEOPLE about the joys and challenges of being a mom of three. Despite the mayhem, she expressed her love for all her children, acknowledging the learning curve that comes with adding a newborn to the mix.
Reflecting on her partnership with Koma, Duff praised him as an amazing father and supportive partner, especially during the chaotic moments of parenthood. The couple met in 2015 during their collaboration on Duff’s album “Breathe In. Breathe Out” and dated on and off before tying the knot in December 2019, following Koma’s heartwarming proposal in May of the same year.
