The duo was accompanied by original cast members Daniel Franzese, known for his portrayal of Damian Hubbard, and Rajiv Surrendra, who played the rapping mathlete Kevin Gnapoor. As speculation brewed about potential cameos in the film, Fey teased, “I couldn’t possibly say, but we do have some fun cameos.” She revealed that Ashley Park and Tim Meadows are part of the movie, along with other exciting appearances from influencer friends.
Various “Mean Girls” stars and members of the creative team graced the event, including Reneé Rapp, Christopher Briney, Auli’i Cravalho, Jaquel Spivey, Avantika, Bebe Wood, Busy Philipps, Jon Hamm, Megan Thee Stallion, director of photography Bill Kirstein, choreographer Kyle Hanagami, and co-directors Arturo Perez Jr. and Samantha Jayne.
Reflecting on the challenge of bringing Regina George from the Broadway stage to the screen, the creative team discussed the personalization of the role.
