Randy Fine Proudly Holds $1.5M in Cash on Hand for Senate Bid

Republican Randy Fine has amassed a substantial war chest, boasting over $1.5 million in cash for his Senate run in Florida. Fine, a Palm Bay Republican, declared his candidacy for an open seat in Senate District 19 last year. He has successfully raised funds for his campaign account and a dedicated political committee.

Despite the limitation on fundraising during the ongoing Legislative Session, Fine accumulated six figures before the session commenced and continued his robust financial collection through the close of 2023. In the first week of 2023, he secured additional contributions, further fortifying his financial position.

Expressing gratitude for the overwhelming financial support, Fine stated, “As Session hits full swing, I am humbled by the overwhelming financial support my Senate campaign has received. With record support from Brevard and all corners of the state, it is clear that everyone agrees that #ItsGoingToBeFine.”

Fine’s campaign has already demonstrated a considerable financial advantage over his primary opponent, Robyn Hattaway, particularly when considering direct contributions. Fine raised nearly $21,000 in the fourth quarter alone compared to Hattaway’s approximately $8,100.

When factoring in contributions from the Friends of Randy Fine committee, Fine’s fundraising reached new heights. The committee raised an additional $273,000 in the fourth quarter, bringing Fine’s combined fundraising to approximately $293,000 over three months.

Furthermore, Fine reported an additional $122,000 raised during the Legislative Session, though official records for fundraising in 2024 are not yet available with the Division of Elections.

After accounting for expenses from both accounts, Fine concluded the year with an impressive cash reserve of almost $1.53 million. In contrast, Hattaway’s campaign closed 2023 with $48,000, and her committee, Friends of Robyn Hattaway, collected $5,000 in the quarter, finishing the year with $6,022 in cash on hand.

Importantly, Hattaway faces no fundraising moratorium and has not disclosed any fundraising totals for 2024 at this time. The significant financial disparity between Fine and Hattaway underscores the formidable position Fine established in the Senate race’s early stages.
