The decision by the Justice Department not to pursue criminal charges against President Joe Biden for his handling of classified documents has triggered strong criticism from Alina Habba, Donald Trump’s spokesperson.

In an interview with Sean Hannity on “Fox News,” Habba voiced her disapproval, framing it as a double standard in the justice system. She argued that if Biden can handle classified documents without consequences, there should be consistent law enforcement for the former president.

At 39 years old, Habba highlighted what she perceives as disparate treatment between Republicans and Democrats in the justice system. She pointed to the scrutiny Trump faced over classified documents seized from Mar-a-Lago, contrasting it with the absence of charges against Biden.

During the interview, Habba emphasized the apparent existence of two justice systems, one for Republicans and another for Democrats.

She conveyed her perspective on the unequal treatment, stating, “I think the one thing that we learned today from the Special Counsel is that there is, in fact, and not that we didn’t know it, Sean, two systems of justice—one if you’re a Republican and one if you’re a Democrat.”

In maintaining his innocence, Trump has consistently asserted his right to handle documents as he deems fit. Despite the National Archives’ repeated attempts to retrieve records from Trump’s possession, their endeavors proved unsuccessful. The situation escalated to the point where the FBI obtained a search warrant to raid his Florida estate.

In stark contrast, Biden’s attorneys promptly notified the National Archives upon discovering materials in the president’s possession. This marked a departure in the approach to handling classified documents between the two administrations.
