Jared Kushner, former senior adviser in the Trump administration, has stated that he does not intend to serve in a potential second Trump administration, citing his commitment to focusing on his business ventures.
Speaking at an Axios event in Miami, Kushner emphasized that his life has often diverged from his plans and that he is currently dedicated to his private equity firm, Affinity Partners, based in Miami.
Following his tenure in the White House, Kushner transitioned to the financial sector, starting Affinity Partners. He expressed enjoyment at having his family out of the spotlight after leaving their roles in the White House, and he reiterated his commitment to his investors, firm, employees, and partners.

When asked if he would decline an administration job from his father-in-law, Donald Trump, if offered, Kushner answered affirmatively. He praised the team around Trump, suggesting that if reelected, the White House would have an even higher level of competence and professionalism than before.
Kushner described Trump’s first White House bid as a “family campaign,” contrasting it with a potential future campaign where Trump could build a strong team based on available talent.
He dismissed concerns about personnel issues during the Trump administration, stating that those who shouldn’t have been there were “weeded out.”
In his 2022 memoir, Kushner provided insights into the contentious atmosphere within the Trump administration, highlighting the internal conflicts and their impact on governance.
During his time in the White House, Kushner played a significant role in various policy areas, including immigration, trade agreements, the Middle East, and the COVID-19 response.
Prior to his political career, Kushner was the CEO of Kushner Properties, his family’s real estate development firm, and had no prior political experience.
