The expected completion date for the initial scope of work is January 2025. However, the contract work will extend through January 2029 if all options are exercised.

Laura Hooks, the Vice President and General Manager of Maritime and Strategic Systems at General Dynamics Mission Systems, highlighted Progeny Systems’ track record in providing mission readiness solutions for the Navy across shipboard networks, shore-based systems, and government cloud environments.

She emphasized that the systems developed under this contract will be crucial in assessing the readiness of individual crewmembers, watch teams, and critical ship systems across all nuclear-powered platforms.

This underscores the importance of the contract in enhancing the Navy’s operational capabilities and ensuring the effectiveness of its personnel and equipment.
