He stressed the importance of unblocking the next aid package for Ukraine, which is currently stuck in Congress. President Duda also mentioned Poland’s initiative to increase NATO countries’ defense spending to 3% of GDP.
This initiative aims not only to increase spending on weapons but also to revive the defense industry in Europe and ensure the ability to produce enough ammunition quickly to protect countries and provide assistance to those potentially under attack.
