In his testimony before the House Oversight Committee, Tony Bobulinski, Hunter Biden’s former business partner, publicly accused Hunter Biden and his uncle, Jim Biden, of lying under oath regarding their business dealings with the Chinese conglomerate CEFC.
Bobulinski’s appearance follows his closed-door testimony last month, during which he detailed a May 2017 meeting with Hunter, Joe, and James Biden to discuss a potential joint venture with CEFC.
He pointed out alleged instances of perjury from Hunter Biden’s previous testimony, including discrepancies in the timeline of their business relationship with CEFC and Hunter’s father’s involvement in business matters.
Contrary to Hunter Biden’s claims, Bobulinski asserted that the business relationship with CEFC might have originated earlier, possibly during Joe Biden’s tenure as vice president.

Bobulinski challenged Hunter Biden’s assertion that his father never interacted with his business associates, providing evidence suggesting otherwise.
Regarding a text message sent by Hunter Biden in July 2017, Bobulinski accused him of leveraging his father’s influence, contradicting Hunter’s explanation that the message was intended for a different individual.
Records show that in March 2017, Hunter Biden’s business partner, Rob Walker received a $3 million payment from State Energy HK, an account linked to CEFC. A portion of these funds was reportedly distributed to accounts associated with the Biden family.
Bobulinski also accused James Biden of lying about his involvement with CEFC and Oneida Holdings, a holding company connected to the CEFC proposal.
Despite James Biden’s denials, Bobulinski maintained that the May 2017 meeting did occur, and he provided documentation of the Oneida agreement.
While imprisoned former Biden associate Jason Galanis testified virtually, claiming that Joe Biden assisted his son in finalizing deals with Chinese and Russian partners, another key witness, Devon Archer, declined to participate.
The impeachment inquiry, focused on Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings, includes scrutiny of activities in Ukraine, Russia, China, Kazakhstan, and Romania. Hunter Biden opted not to attend the public hearing despite previous calls for his testimony.
Chairman James Comer emphasized the Bidens’ unconventional business practices, suggesting they capitalize on Joe Biden’s political connections rather than offering traditional services or products.
