Michael Whatley, the newly appointed chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC), has pledged to undertake outstanding efforts to ensure election integrity in future elections.

During an interview on “The Cats Roundtable” on WABC 770 AM-N.Y., Whatley emphasized the importance of having a robust presence in the electoral process, including observers and attorneys, while casting and counting votes.

The RNC aims to recruit tens of thousands of volunteers and attorneys nationwide to participate in the election process. Whatley’s strategy involves preparing for the election season and working proactively with state legislatures, boards of elections, and secretaries of state to ensure that election laws, rules, and regulations are satisfactory.

Under Whatley’s leadership, the RNC is prepared to take legal action if necessary to advocate for favorable election conditions. This initiative has already resulted in the filing of 80 lawsuits in 24 states, aiming to solidify election integrity measures well ahead of the November 5 election and the preceding period of mail-in balloting.

The move reflects concerns Donald Trump and his supporters raised regarding the integrity of the 2020 election. The election saw a remarkable change in election procedures in several battleground states, often implemented through judicial or executive actions rather than legislative processes.

Whatley, chosen for his role by Trump, appears to be swiftly acting on these concerns, seeking to address and mitigate them through legal and organizational efforts to ensure a transparent and fair electoral process.
