Luntz noted, “If I shout at you every time I’m on, you’ll stop inviting me and listening to me.” He added, “Trump doesn’t grasp this. People need to be honest with him. At this stage, Harris is already gaining a convention bounce before the actual convention, and if Trump persists in his current behavior, Harris might end up with a 5- or 6-point lead post-convention,” as highlighted by Mediaite.
Recent polls reflect Harris’s growing advantage over Trump. According to an average of national polls from The Hill/Decision Desk HQ, Harris leads Trump by 2 points, with her support at 49 percent compared to Trump’s 47 percent. However, The New York Times/Siena College polling shows Harris ahead by 4 points in key battleground states such as Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania.
