On his show, No Spin News, O’Reilly asserted that Kennedy’s campaign was destined to falter, stating, “I told you from the very beginning that this was going nowhere.” He criticized Kennedy for poor campaign management and suggested that media appearances are irrelevant once a campaign loses traction.
O’Reilly also mentioned that Kennedy had initially agreed to appear on his show but later canceled, dismissing the incident as inconsequential. This remark was made in the context of Kennedy’s controversial past, including an old claim about disposing of a dead bear cub in Central Park, a story that has resurfaced recently.

Kennedy has faced mounting negative press and a decline in poll numbers. Before President Biden’s withdrawal from the race, Kennedy was polling in double digits, but recent figures show his support has dropped to single digits. Currently, he has just 3.5 percent support according to The Hill/Decision Desk HQ’s polling index.
In comparison, Vice President Kamala Harris, who emerged as the Democratic frontrunner following Biden’s exit, leads former President Trump by 1.8 percent in recent polls. Including Kennedy in the polls, Harris stands at 47.5 percent, while Trump has 43.7 percent.
Despite his criticisms, O’Reilly acknowledged Kennedy’s past achievements, particularly his work in cleaning up the Hudson River and leading Riverkeepers. “He did a tremendous job with environmental efforts,” O’Reilly conceded, though he expressed confusion over Kennedy’s current positions.
