On Monday, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. revealed that former President Trump has invited him to join his transition team if Trump secures another term. In an interview with Tucker Carlson, Kennedy shared his enthusiasm about helping to select the individuals who would manage the government.
Kennedy, who concluded his independent presidential campaign on Friday, has endorsed Trump and indicated that although his name will remain on the ballot in many states, he has withdrawn from the crucial battleground states where his candidacy could have had a serious impact.
Kennedy appeared with Trump at a rally in Arizona over the weekend, where Trump warmly welcomed him, acknowledging Kennedy’s longstanding commitment to shared values. Trump praised Kennedy as outstanding addition to the campaign, anticipating a considerable influence from him.
Initially, Kennedy had run as a Democrat challenging President Biden but later shifted to an independent run. With the election only 70 days away, Kennedy plans to focus on supporting Trump’s campaign. He expressed his commitment to working on policy issues with the campaign and noted his determination to contribute to Trump’s election effort, though he acknowledged uncertainty about his future if Trump loses.
