Lana Del Rey’s romantic life is taking an adventurous turn, and it’s grabbing attention. The 39-year-old singer-songwriter is reportedly involved with Jeremy Dufrene, an alligator tour guide from Louisiana. This speculation follows their recent appearance holding hands at the Reading & Leeds Festival.
A video captured on August 24 by artist Chris Lloyd shows Dufrene and Del Rey walking together backstage at the U.K. festival where Del Rey headlined. Additional evidence of their relationship includes a sighting of the pair having lunch in London, as reported on the singer’s subreddit.
Del Rey’s connection with Dufrene seems to date back to 2019, when she visited Louisiana and took one of Dufrene’s swamp tours. She documented the experience on Facebook, where she shared photos of herself with Dufrene and playfully referred to him in the caption.
Earlier this year, Del Rey appears to have rekindled her connection with Dufrene, returning to Airboat Tours by Arthur for another swamp adventure. In an Instagram post from May 16, she wore noise-canceling headphones for the tour and tagged Dufrene, referring to him as “my guy.”
Dufrene, who is a father to two daughters and a son, previously worked as a chemical plant worker and shrimp fisherman before becoming an airboat captain. According to his company bio, he transitioned to this career after encouragement from his family and has since found it to be a fulfilling fit.
In recent years, Del Rey has been romantically linked to several individuals, including musician and manager Evan Winiker, Jack Donoghue from the band Salem, Live PD analyst Sean “Sticks” Larkin, and musician Clayton Johnson.
