Lauryn Goodman is set to share “her side of the story” as she makes her debut on Celebs Go Dating this week. Following a recent legal defeat in her custody dispute with footballer Kyle Walker, the 33-year-old influencer and mother of two has decided to re-enter the dating world.
Lauryn, who has two children, Kairo (4) and Kinara (1), was involved in a highly publicized two-day court battle with Walker over childcare support, and now viewers will get to hear her perspective on the matter during upcoming episodes of the show.
Dr. Tara Suwinyattichaiporn, an expert on the series, teased that the new episodes will reveal Lauryn’s side, providing insight into her emotions beyond the courtroom. She stated, “This week, viewers will witness multiple bombshells. Lauryn’s side of the story will come to light. Until now, we’ve mostly heard the other side, with a focus on the lawsuit and her financial demands, but this week will delve into her true feelings, offering a fresh perspective.”
In the court case, Lauryn was accused of treating Kyle as an “open-ended chequebook,” with Judge Edward Hess commenting in his written judgment that she lacked a “good track record of honesty” and was often “difficult, unreasonable, and demanding.”
Lauryn joins a cast that includes Helen Flanagan, Chris Taylor, Ella Morgan, Stephen Webb, Jamelia, and Tristan Phipps in the show’s star-studded lineup. When asked about future celebrity participants, Dr. Tara suggested Bianca Gasgoyne as an ideal candidate, praising her beauty and fiery personality, along with recent new parents Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury, noting, “Tommy could use some therapy.”
Celebs Go Dating airs Monday to Thursday at 9 p.m. on E4.
