Maria Georgas is addressing recent speculation directly. Following the September 3 live finale of Jenn Tran’s season of The Bachelorette, where she was mentioned, Maria took to social media to share her perspective.
In a TikTok posted on September 5, Maria expressed her sympathy for Jenn, who disclosed during the finale that Devin Strader ended their engagement with a brief phone call two months later. “Watching last night was tough, and my heart is with Jenn,” Maria stated.
“I really think many of those conversations should have stayed off camera.” During the finale, Jenn confronted Devin about his Instagram activity, noting that he followed Maria—who was originally considered for The Bachelorette—shortly after their breakup.

“I get why Jenn needed to address it; she’s entitled to her perspective, and I respect that,” Maria commented on Jenn’s decision to bring up the issue. “However, without the complete context, it can create a misleading narrative.” Regarding the follow from Devin, Maria admitted she was unaware of it until it was pointed out to her, adding, “I don’t monitor who follows me. I only knew about it after he had already unfollowed.”
Maria also clarified that there was no inappropriate behavior between herself and Devin post-breakup. “Let me set the record straight—I’ve never met Devin,” she said. “We’ve never gone clubbing together.” She emphasized, “I never followed him back, and I had no role in the end of their relationship.”
Maria did acknowledge spending time with another of Jenn’s exes, Jeremy Simon, who was eliminated after the hometown visits. “Yes, I went out with Jeremy and friends, but that’s all it was,” she explained, noting that Jeremy and Jenn had a friendly relationship.
Maria defended her actions, comparing it to the dynamics of Bachelor in Paradise. “I’m not on Paradise, so I’m planning this in real life,” she said. “Meeting through mutual friends is completely normal.”
Despite no longer being friends with Jenn, Maria made it clear that she still supports her. “We need to stop pitting women against each other,” Maria said. “Just because Jenn and I have parted ways doesn’t mean I dislike her. I won’t stand by if someone disrespects her in front of me.”
