The musician has dismissed a viral claim that Dave Grohl fathered a child outside his marriage to Jordyn Blum. On Wednesday, September 11, a woman posted a picture of a baby girl online, asserting that Dave, 55, is the child’s father.
The photo shows the baby holding onto a woman’s fingers while seated in a car seat, though neither the woman’s nor the baby’s face is visible. Accompanying the since-deleted photo, the woman wrote a heartfelt caption: “Being your mother, Roxie Junie Grohl, has already been the most amazing experience of my life.
Your dad supported me throughout the pregnancy, and I’m beyond thankful for his love and care,” as reported by TMZ. She further elaborated, emphasizing the alleged resemblance between Roxie and Dave.

Despite these assertions, Dave Grohl’s representatives swiftly denied the woman’s claims, confirming to TMZ that the post was fabricated. Dave and Jordyn’s love story began in 2001 when they met at the Sunset Marquis Whiskey Bar in Los Angeles.
Although they initially dated briefly before Dave pulled away, he reconsidered weeks later and asked her out again. The couple got married two years later, in 2003. The pair welcomed their first child, daughter Violet, in 2006, followed by Harper in 2009 and Ophelia in 2014, building what seemed like a happy family.
In July, they were seen together enjoying Wimbledon from the Royal Box, but just two months later, shocking revelations surfaced. On Tuesday, September 10, Dave admitted to infidelity, revealing that he had fathered a child outside his marriage. In a statement shared on Instagram, he expressed regret over his actions.
