For those hoping to pursue WNBA rookie superstar Angel Reese, it might be time to let go of that dream. While it was unlikely to happen anyway, it seems even less probable after Reese revealed very specific preferences for her next boyfriend during the latest episode of her podcast.
“He’s gotta be tall,” Reese shared with her cohosts, adding, “Like, 6’7 or 6’8.” Initially, there might have been some hope for BroBible’s Connor Toole, but that quickly faded. This conversation also seems to dispel the rumors that Reese was involved with Detroit Pistons center Jalen Duren.

According to BroBible’s Grayson Weir, both Duren and Reese posted photos and videos on their Instagram stories on July 30, appearing to be at the same location with identical cabanas. On August 5, Reese tweeted that she had a man, so if things have changed since then, it must have happened recently. Perhaps it was just a brief summer romance.
Additionally, Weir’s further investigation uncovered Reese’s comment on an Instagram post by former Chicago Sky guard Kysre Gondrezick, who is currently dating Celtics star Jaylen Brown. Reese’s comment, “we love our J’s,” under a post celebrating Brown’s birthday, adds fuel to the speculation.
Whether they’re still dating or not remains unclear, but Reese might be subtly confirming the relationship. If not, it’s safe to assume several NBA forwards and centers are now calling their agents to try and get in touch with her.
