Discovering Justin Rose: Whitney Rose’s Husband and their Journey Together

Sales Executive, Justin Rose and Canadian TV Personality, Whitney Rose

The dedication of Whitney Rose and her husband, Justin Rose, has shone through various trials. Since the debut of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City in 2020, fans have observed Whitney and Justin tackle numerous life challenges together.

Their relationship took shape under unusual circumstances, having met while both were in other marriages. This connection led to an affair, prompting Whitney to leave her former spouse and Justin to divorce his first wife, Stasie Koford. They married in 2009 and are now parents to two children, Bobbie and Brooks.

Whitney expressed her regrets about Justin’s vasectomy, sharing that it was a mutual decision after Brooks was born

Season 4 of RHOSLC shed light on their marital difficulties, with Whitney being candid about their current dynamics. “We’ve encountered many changes, from me launching my business to him losing his job. We’ve recognized that we struggle with communication,” she shared during a double date with Angie Katsanevas and Shawn Trujillo.

The couple reaffirmed their commitment during the premiere of RHOSLC in 2020. For those interested in Whitney Rose’s husband, here’s a closer look at Justin Rose and his life with the reality star.

Justin originates from Utah.

Raised in Utah, Justin pursued his education at Brigham Young University, graduating with degrees in international relations and business management. In February 2024, the couple made a transition within their home state, as Whitney mentioned on The Viall Files podcast that they had acquired a new residence in Salt Lake City. When asked about the reason for the move, Whitney simply said, “It’s because … I can, and I want to.”

He is involved in the direct sales industry.

Although he humorously describes himself as a “house husband” on Instagram, Justin works as a sales executive. During season 3 of RHOSLC, viewers witnessed his unexpected termination from LifeVantage Corporation, where he had spent nearly seven years.

His firing was influenced by concerns surrounding Whitney’s reality TV fame. “My boss expressed gratitude for my contributions but mentioned, ‘Given Whitney’s public persona, I’m not sure how we can continue working together,’” he recounted during a season 3 episode.

By March 2023, Justin secured a new role as president of Awakend, a direct sales company, according to his LinkedIn profile. He is also now a co-owner and co-founder of sōl people.

Their relationship began in a controversial manner.

Justin and Whitney first crossed paths when he was her supervisor at a local med spa. Despite both being married, their bond grew strong enough to lead them to leave their spouses.

“Whitney developed feelings for Justin, which led to an affair that resulted in their excommunication from the Mormon church,” co-star Heather Gay explained in the season 1 premiere. Whitney later clarified that she chose to leave the church voluntarily instead of facing excommunication.

The couple’s early relationship faced considerable scrutiny from friends and family. One of Whitney’s cousins expressed remorse for doubting their connection, admitting, “I didn’t expect you to be here ten years later after your first wedding.”

Reflecting on their journey, Whitney stated, “If I had to endure everything to be with Justin—the judgment, the criticism, the heartache—I would do it all again, because my life is so enriched.”

Justin is a father to five children.

Justin proudly embraces fatherhood with five kids. From his previous marriage, he has three sons: Austin, Christopher, and Trey. With Whitney, he shares a daughter, Bobbie, born in April 2010, and a son, Brooks, born in January 2013. He also has two step-grandchildren.

In season 2 of RHOSLC, Whitney discussed their choice not to expand their family further. “I’ve always dreamed of having more kids, but it’s not going to happen,” she admitted. “After Brooks was born, Justin had a vasectomy.”

She clarified that this decision was a mutual agreement: “We settled on having two children, and while I accepted the vasectomy, I later regretted it.” He enjoys joining Whitney at various events. Justin frequently supports Whitney at events, as showcased on his Instagram.

He attended Bravocon 2023 with her and made appearances on Watch What Happens Live, even taking to the red carpet. The couple also spent Christmas 2023 in New York with their family and have enjoyed attending Taylor Swift concerts together.

In one of Justin’s Instagram videos, their kids are seen joyfully singing and dancing to Swift’s “Shake It Off.” The caption read, “Three hours into the concert… and this song revived their energy!”
