Ashley Jacobs is expecting another child! The former Southern Charm star, who was on the show for two seasons before leaving in 2019, is pregnant with her second baby with husband Mike Appel, as confirmed by a representative for the couple.
Jacobs, 39, shared exclusive photos from her family’s babymoon vacation at the Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort, where she vacationed with her 3-year-old son, Grayson Maxwell. She expressed her excitement about welcoming another baby boy into their family.

Reflecting on her journey since her Southern Charm days, Jacobs shared, “My husband, son and I are thrilled to announce that we are expecting baby boy #2 in FIVE WEEKS! We cannot wait for his arrival and to watch our boys grow up together. Grateful is an understatement!”
In addition to preparing for the new baby, the family is also remodeling their new home, which has made life quite busy. “Life is pretty hectic at the moment, but we felt we could somehow manage to squeeze in one last vacation just the three of us,” she noted.
She explained her choice of location for their babymoon, saying, “The choice was obvious to have our babymoon in our hometown of Santa Barbara! I know people are asking, ‘Why choose to have a babymoon in the town you live in?!’
My answer is always, ‘Have you been to Santa Barbara?!’ Staying at the Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort is as close to paradise as you can get.” Jacobs and Appel first crossed paths in 2019 at a summer rooftop party in her hometown of Santa Barbara, and they made their relationship official on Instagram a few months later.
In March 2021, PEOPLE exclusively reported that the couple got engaged during a snowmobile ride in Park City, Utah. Later that same year, they secretly wed in a private ceremony.
Jacobs shared her excitement about their relationship, saying, “After a year and a half of dating, we can both agree that this adventure we’re on together is just getting started. We’re a great team, and we can’t wait for what’s ahead! Buckle up!”
