Jerry O’Connell recently shared a touching moment with his daughters as they prepare for an important milestone. On September 29, the 50-year-old actor posted a charming photo on Instagram featuring his 16-year-old twin daughters readying for their homecoming dance.
In the image, O’Connell stands between his girls, sporting a blue MTV T-shirt and white pants. On his left, Dolly, dressed in a black mini dress, leans affectionately against her dad, both beaming with joy. On his right, Charlie can be seen in a striped blue dress, phone in hand. The proud father enthusiastically captioned the post with a simple “HOCO!”

O’Connell shares these wonderful daughters with his wife, Rebecca Romijn, who is 51. During a September 20 appearance on The Talk, O’Connell revealed his plans for his daughters’ upcoming sweet 16 birthday party, which promises to be a grand affair.
“I have teenage daughters, and they will be celebrating their sweet 16 on Saturday,” he shared with excitement, mentioning that he had arranged for catering and even an ice cream truck for the special event.
He humorously noted his role as the party’s security guard, vowing to monitor the festivities to ensure everything remains appropriate. “Myself and some other dads will don security shirts,” he explained.
“We’ll patrol the party and keep an eye out for any close dancing, making sure there’s enough space to move around.” Admitting to the stress of the situation, he added, “It’s actually super stressful.”
In June, Romijn provided insight into their family dynamics during an interview at the 84th Annual Peabody Awards in Beverly Hills. She mentioned that her daughters tend to lean more toward their mother than their father.
“Dads are different with them,” Romijn explained to PEOPLE. “We share a very different relationship. My girls want me around all the time.” Nevertheless, she acknowledged the unique advantage of having Jerry as their dad.
“They’re funny girls,” Romijn remarked. “And I enjoy spending time with them because they’ll be turning 16 in December, meaning I only have two and a half years left before they fly the nest. I want to cherish every moment I can with them.”
