Despite the ongoing sale of her $4.5 million Tennessee farmhouse and her divorce from estranged husband Josh Hall, Christina Hall is prioritizing quality moments with her three children.
On October 5, the 41-year-old HGTV star took to her Instagram Stories to share glimpses of her weekend spent with her kids: Taylor, 14, and Brayden, 9, from her previous marriage to Tarek El Moussa, as well as Hudson, 5, whom she shares with ex-husband Ant Anstead.
One photo captured her two sons in their soccer gear, with Hudson embracing his older brother. Christina proudly labeled the picture, “Soccer Saturdays.” Later that day, she shared a cozy moment with her daughter Taylor as they watched the 2018 film A Star is Born, featuring Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. “A star is born with my girl ❤️,” she captioned the post.
This family bonding time comes shortly after Christina revealed on social media that she would be listing her Leiper’s Fork farmhouse, which served as the setting for her HGTV spinoff Christina in the Country, for $4.5 million as she navigates her divorce from Josh.
A source disclosed to PEOPLE that Josh had been living in the farmhouse since their separation. According to legal documents, they reached a temporary agreement allowing him to stay in the home when it wasn’t rented out, following his move from their $12 million mansion in Newport Beach, California, in early August.
When she announced the listing, Christina expressed her excitement for a new business venture and real estate opportunity. She also shared a pointed message seemingly directed at Josh, stating, “I guess ‘Leiper’s Fork’ is gonna have to come off the bio soon,” referencing his recent update of his location on Instagram.
“Time to go back to reality soon… Remember when you said you would never steal from me or my kids and you’d just be happy in a van with your dog? I guess plans changed 🤔,” Christina continued. “All about trying to take everything you can… With your mind on my money and my money on your mind… 💰🎶. Byeeee✌🏻”
A September legal agreement indicated that Josh must return $35,000 in rental income to Christina, which he claimed was necessary to cover property expenses. In response to the ongoing situation, a representative for Josh stated that he intends to handle the divorce maturely and through legal channels rather than social media or tabloids, emphasizing that he “hasn’t stolen a penny from her or her family.”
Christina also took to Instagram Stories last week to voice her belief that Josh’s request for spousal support was unreasonable given the brief duration of their marriage, referring to him as a “gold digging little biatch.”
The farmhouse was purchased by Christina in February 2021. She and Josh began dating in March 2021, went public with their relationship that July, married in April 2022, and celebrated their oceanfront wedding in Maui in November 2022. Josh filed for divorce on July 15, citing “irreconcilable differences” after nearly three years of marriage.
