Lance Bass is celebrating another milestone for his twins as they turn three! The *NSYNC star, now 45, took to Instagram on Oct. 8 to share photos from Violet and Alexander’s birthday celebration.
In the heartwarming pictures, Bass and his husband Michael Turchin pose with their children in front of a sign that humorously says “It’s Gonna Be Three,” a clever nod to *NSYNC’s hit song “It’s Gonna Be Me.” The toddlers are shown sitting next to their colorful cakes.
Violet is dressed in a purple sweatshirt and blue jeans as she sits beside her teal cake, while Alexander wears a gray sweatshirt with matching jeans, posing by his red cake. The party also included Moose Toys’ new Tile Town playsets, such as the Tile Town Pet Clinic and Rescue, as well as the Fire Station set.
Bass captioned the photos with a playful message, “It’s gonna be THRAYYY!!! Thanks to @MooseToys, the birthday fun is in full swing. Tile Town, cake, and two happy toddlers—what more could you ask for?”
Back in June, Bass shared a charming video on Instagram, where someone—likely his husband—asked their daughter Violet what she was watching on TV. She excitedly responded with “JC,” referring to *NSYNC member JC Chasez.
Bass confirmed her answer before humorously commenting that they have to watch “Bye Bye Bye” on repeat throughout the day, panning the camera to the TV screen. He then asked Violet, dressed in dinosaur-print pajamas, to show off the signature “Bye Bye Bye” hand move, which she eagerly did for the camera.
During a March interview with PEOPLE, Bass reflected on parenting, mentioning how every day brings new surprises. He remarked that it’s incredible to watch their rapid growth, saying, “They’re in school now, and it blows my mind — they’re like little people.”
Bass continued, expressing awe at how much his twins have developed in just a few short years, noting that it feels surreal to now have full conversations with them when it seems like just yesterday they were barely moving on the couch.
