The family of Love Is Blind stars Amber and Matt Barnett is set to expand! On Tuesday, Oct. 8, the couple, who first connected during season 1 of Netflix’s dating show, made an appearance on the debut episode of Lauren and Cameron Hamilton’s podcast, The Love Seat.
During their conversation with fellow Love Is Blind alumni, Amber excitedly announced her pregnancy, revealing that they are expecting their first child together. Amber, 32, shared a brief life update, saying, “I sent myself back to school because I felt like we were in a place where I could do that, like, I had the support and I was mentally there.”
Matt, 34, humorously got the spotlight when Amber added, “Then, over summer break, he just went and knocked me up.” With enthusiasm, Lauren cheered and clapped, exclaiming, “There’s a baby Barnett on the way!”
As the conversation continued, Amber mentioned to Cameron that their baby might have been conceived during his recent birthday celebration, playfully stating, “So little baby B might come out ready to throw down with us.”
Excitedly, Lauren congratulated them, expressing, “The biggest congratulations to you guys, I’m so excited,” while Cameron chimed in that he was “ready to be an uncle.” Amber and Matt also took to Instagram, sharing a video montage filled with sweet moments from their journey, starting with clips from their wedding in season one of the show.
In the final frames, the couple is seen together, cradling Amber’s baby bump, which they captioned, “Where it started, where we’ve been, where we’re at…” Additionally, they hinted at their pregnancy news from the podcast, stating, “Feat a special preview from our @officialloveseatpodcast episode with our faves Lauren and Cam.
