Jason Kelce came to the defense of his brother, Travis Kelce, before the Kansas City Chiefs faced off against the New Orleans Saints on Monday. Having retired from the Philadelphia Eagles last season, Jason now analyzes games on Monday Night Countdown.
He addressed the criticisms surrounding Travis’s performance this season, which some fans believe may be linked to his relationship with Taylor Swift. Jason, however, strongly disagreed with this notion.
“He’s always managed to show up in peak physical condition, and while it may seem like he’s distracted, that’s not just an illusion; it’s the reality,” the former football center stated bluntly.
“Football has consistently been the top priority in Trav’s life,” he added. “He has always embraced life to the fullest and enjoyed his off-seasons long before Taylor Swift entered the picture. Regardless of what’s happening in our lives, football will always remain his main focus.”
Yesterday, the Chiefs secured a victory with Taylor Swift present for the first time in three weeks. Swift had previously missed the team’s away games but returned with style on Monday, sporting a plaid ensemble from Vivienne Westwood, complemented by black platform boots and glitter freckles that enhanced her classic red lips and cat-eye makeup.
Since their relationship began in the summer of 2023, Swift has frequently been seen in the stands supporting her boyfriend during football games. In turn, Kelce has attended an impressive 14 dates of her Eras Tour throughout their relationship, even making a special appearance on stage during one of the shows in London.
