Screen time challenges are universal among parents, and it seems the Royal Family encounters similar issues regarding viewing choices, albeit in a more luxurious setting. During a BAFTA event in London on October 9, Prince William revealed that he deals with the familiar parenting struggle of deciding what to watch with his children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
While speaking with Erik Scott, a student from the National Film and TV School involved in the upcoming Film Africa festival, William mentioned that his children are “always wrestling over the remote” due to the abundance of shows available today.

This isn’t the first instance where William has discussed his efforts to manage his children’s screen time. Back in January 2022, he touched on this topic during another BAFTA event, highlighting Prince George’s keen interest in gaming.
“They’re fascinated by it,” he noted regarding his kids and their interactions with technology, adding that he and Princess Kate are working to “regulate” their children’s screen time—a relatable challenge for many parents.
At that time, William remarked that Charlotte, then 6, and Louis, then 3, were still a bit young for extensive screen time, although they enjoyed watching films. In terms of screen time, fans were treated to a rare look inside the Wales family home during the Euros finals this summer.
