Princess Eugenie recently gave followers a rare look at her youngest son, Ernest, as part of a heartfelt birthday tribute to her mother, Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, who just turned 65.
In an Instagram post celebrating the occasion, Eugenie shared, “Happy birthday to my beautiful mumma,” along with a collection of previously unseen family photos. Among the images were two sweet snapshots of Ernest, dressed casually in a green sweatshirt and jeans, spending quality time with his grandmother in a lush garden.
Ernest, who celebrated his first birthday in May, is Eugenie’s second child with husband Jack Brooksbank, joining older brother August, who will turn four in February.
The tribute continued with Eugenie expressing her admiration, writing, “So proud of the Grannie you are, the mum you are, and the woman you are.” She went on to add, “You’re an inspiration, and our endless chats bring me so much happiness and incredible support. @sarahferguson15.”
Eugenie also included more photos of her mother in the post. One showed the duchess wearing a glamorous green evening gown, casually posing in front of what seems to be a hotel door, giving off the vibe of a candid photo taken before a night out.
Alongside the family moments, Eugenie shared a picture of herself with Sarah and Princess Beatrice, all dressed up and posing together outside on a sunny day.
Just a few days earlier, on Oct. 12, Eugenie treated followers to another personal memory—a black-and-white wedding photo of her dancing with Jack Brooksbank, marking their sixth anniversary.
