Julia Fox has shared her thoughts on her brief relationship with Ye, formerly known as Kanye West. In an interview with The Times published on Saturday, October 12, Fox expressed her deep regret about the relationship, stating, “I regret that relationship so much. I hate it! It was only a few weeks, but enough to last me a lifetime.”
Describing her experience, she noted, “I was in probably the most uncomfortable position in my life, and that’s saying a lot. I don’t want to be known for being anyone’s girlfriend.”
Additionally, Fox revealed that the decision to make their relationship public was not hers. The couple met on New Year’s Eve 2021 in Miami, shortly after West’s very public split from Kim Kardashian.
“It wasn’t my idea for it to go public,” she clarified. “If anything, I was like, ‘We should wait,’ and then boom, it was done behind my back. I realized pretty quickly I was being used as a pawn.” The romance between Fox and West was short-lived, with a representative confirming their split on February 14, 2022.
In her recent interview, Fox also revisited claims made in her memoir, Down the Drain, where she alleged that West, whom she referred to as “the artist,” offered to pay for a “boob job,” insisted she wear only his approved clothing, and requested that she sign a non-disclosure agreement.
