Kaley Cuoco’s daughter is gearing up for her inaugural Halloween celebration! The 38-year-old actress, known for her role in The Big Bang Theory, delighted fans on Saturday, October 19, by posting two adorable photos on her Instagram Stories featuring her 18-month-old daughter Matilda, whom she shares with fiancé Tom Pelphrey.
In one of the images, Cuoco captioned a picture of Matilda in a vibrant dress, saying, “First widdle Halloween party invite.” Matilda was dressed as Poppy from Trolls, although Cuoco noted that her daughter refused to wear the headband adorned with the character’s iconic troll hair.
The toddler’s outfit included a white T-shirt showcasing two colorful characters from the beloved Trolls animated film series, complete with a rainbow and star designs. The skirt featured layers of colorful tulle adorned with silver stars.
For the snapshot, Matilda paired her outfit with hot pink tights and sparkly sneakers, captured while playing with a pumpkin-shaped ball. In a second image, Matilda gazes into the distance, with her mother playfully adding a GIF of Poppy over the photo.
Cuoco and Pelphrey welcomed their first child on March 30, 2023, announcing her arrival on Instagram and describing her as the “new light of our lives,” accompanied by a collection of family photos.
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE in September, Cuoco expressed her admiration for Matilda’s “fearless” personality, revealing that she has “never been scared” of a little adventure.
The proud mother shared, “She eats everything. She loves being outside. She loves her dad. She’s kind of like a boy. She adores airplanes, monster trucks, and helicopters. Anything in the sky she thinks is the most amazing thing.” She also mentioned Matilda’s love for horses, noting that it’s a wonderful interest. In addition to being a mother, Cuoco has a soft spot for animals, including several dogs that she and Pelphrey pamper.
During an exclusive interview with PEOPLE in honor of National Make a Dog’s Day on October 22, she remarked, “Our dogs are so spoiled; it’s a total problem. Whenever anyone visits, they say they want to come back in their next life as one of my dogs.” Cuoco humorously added, “It’s basically their house; we just live here.”
