This Halloween, Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are embracing the spirit of fantasy! On October 26, Gomez, 32, shared a series of photos on Instagram featuring herself and her boyfriend Blanco, 36, dressed as Alice and the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland while attending a Halloween party.
In her post, the Only Murders in the Building star captioned the images, “Curiouser and curiouser….” The photos showcased Gomez in a blonde wig and black headband, portraying Alice as she sat on a couch holding hands with Blanco, who took on the role of the Mad Hatter, inspired by Johnny Depp’s depiction in Tim Burton’s 2010 film adaptation.

Gomez wore a faded blue, off-the-shoulder tulle dress adorned with a white feather at the bodice, complemented by a semi-sheer skirt, white and black pumps, and white socks. Her makeup featured a smoky eye and rosy pink lips.
Blanco made a striking impression with his bright orange curly wig and white face paint. His costume included a light brown tailcoat, a green waistcoat, a navy polka dot shirt paired with gray pants, and a purple scarf, all topped with the Mad Hatter’s signature bronze top hat with a pink band.
Another image captured the couple seated together in their costumes on the floor of a room. Gomez also utilized her Instagram Stories to provide additional glimpses of her ensemble.
In one clip, she appeared solo as Alice, sitting on the same floor and filming a close-up of her look while enjoying the Halloween gathering, with music and chatter audible in the background. She further shared a photo of herself and Blanco holding hands, both dressed up during the celebration.
Additionally, the Emilia Pérez star posted a clip from Disney’s 1951 animated film version of Alice in Wonderland, which seemed to have inspired her costume choice. Blanco shared a couple of photos showcasing his Mad Hatter costume on his Instagram Stories, where he was seen standing in a room full of people at the Halloween party.
Later that night, the music producer shared a video of Gomez seated at a table with him, both still in their costumes while dining out. In the video, Gomez smiled at the camera, mistakenly thinking Blanco was taking a photo.
“It’s a video,” he said, to which she playfully replied, “Why do you always do that to me?” Gomez and Blanco first made their relationship public in December 2023 and have been sharing moments together on social media since then.
Reflecting on her romance, the singer and actress told Vanity Fair in September, “I’ve never been loved this way. He’s just been a light. A complete light in my life. He’s my best friend. I love telling him everything.”
