Tommy Tremble, tight end for the Carolina Panthers, has tied the knot with his long-time partner, Hope Madison DeShazer, in a beautiful ceremony on November 14, 2024. The couple exchanged vows at Rockefeller Center’s 620 Loft & Garden in New York, with 50 guests who traveled from out of state. Guests were invited to dress in their favorite shade of green, adding a personal touch to the occasion.
DeShazer shared the couple’s reasoning for choosing New York, stating that they have visited the city every year on Tommy’s bye week, making it the perfect place for their wedding. She also mentioned how the venue, featured in the 2002 Spider-Man film, was a fun coincidence, as Tommy is a huge fan of the superhero.

The couple’s modern wedding embraced an all-white theme with ivory, gold, and taupe accents, creating a stunning garden party atmosphere. The venue offered breathtaking views of 5th Avenue and St. Patrick’s Cathedral, which guests enjoyed while celebrating. A non-negotiable aspect of the ceremony was the inclusion of their Pomeranian, Astro, who walked down the aisle with the ring bearers.
The bride’s gown, the Opéra dress by Galia Lahav, featured a dramatic nine-foot-long train and French guipure lace, attracting the audience as she made her entrance to a live instrumental version of Calum Scott’s “Biblical” played on a baby grand piano. Tremble and DeShazer shared personal vows privately before the ceremony, which was officiated by Rev. Louis Olivieri. DeShazer’s father also played a special role, reading Union by Robert Fulghum during the ceremony.
A live wedding painter, Hannah Lee of Hannah Paints Events, captured the special moments through colorful brushstrokes. Following the ceremony, the couple hosted a cocktail hour with playful food offerings, including mini sliders served on swings. Pinch Food Design curated the menu, featuring familiar favorites served with a creative twist, such as the Dirty Shirley cocktail, a nod to Tremble and DeShazer’s first date.
Guests enjoyed a delightful dinner on the terrace, which included steak and potatoes, while desserts featured whimsical treats like lavender crullers, churros served from an umbrella, and a nostalgic chocolate fountain. Birch Event Design added a touch of elegance with dramatic floral drapings, and Lulu Cakes created a three-tiered vanilla cake.
The couple’s first dance was to John Legend’s “I Don’t Love You Like I Used To.” Before the main event, an intimate welcome party took place at the Lotte New York Palace, featuring a classic Big Apple treat—Joe’s Pizza. The night before the wedding, Tremble’s family hosted the rehearsal dinner at the Italian restaurant Campagnola.
Tremble and DeShazer’s journey began at the University of Notre Dame, where Tommy played football and Hope was a cheerleader. Their engagement was announced in July 2024 via Instagram, where Tremble shared his excitement and love for his new fiancée. The proposal, set on the sands of Laguna Niguel, California, featured a pear-shaped diamond ring and a surprise gathering of both their families, including their dog, dressed in a mini tuxedo.
