Madison LeCroy and her husband Brett Randle recently marked their second wedding anniversary with an unforgettable getaway. During an exclusive conversation with PEOPLE at Bravo Fan Fest in Miami on Nov. 23, the Southern Charm star, 34, shared that the couple celebrated by traveling to the Maldives and Dubai. “A little world traveling,” she commented on their special trip.
Rather than exchanging traditional anniversary gifts, the couple has been prioritizing the completion of their dream home. “We keep improving our home, so that’s our gifts to each other,” LeCroy explained. “I don’t really need anything — but don’t tell him that.” In a lighthearted moment, she joked about the kinds of presents she wouldn’t mind receiving, saying, “Birken, diamond studs, all the things.”
The couple’s home renovation is progressing well, with LeCroy revealing that she’s recently added brick steps and a porch to the property. “And now I’m going to redo the inside — all custom furniture, drapes,” she shared, describing her vision of a “Southern and classy” aesthetic for the décor.
She playfully referenced Southern Charm star Patricia Altschul’s legendary Charleston home, asking, “What would Patricia do in this situation?” while imagining how the matriarch would approach her own design. LeCroy expressed complete satisfaction with her first two years of marriage to Randle, saying, “It’s been wonderful,” before adding, “He’s beautiful, isn’t he?”
The couple, who wed in November 2022, held two ceremonies: one an intimate courthouse affair in Charleston on Nov. 16, followed by a relaxed beachside celebration at Chablé Maroma in Riviera Maya, Mexico, three days later. “It was a super chill, relaxed day — isn’t that every bride’s dream?” LeCroy reflected on their simple, yet meaningful celebration.
The couple opted out of a traditional large wedding, choosing instead a more intimate experience. “We didn’t want to have some elaborate wedding here in Charleston with 300 people. That just wasn’t our vibe,” she admitted. “If it wasn’t for Hudson, we probably would have just eloped and not done a wedding,” referring to her 12-year-old son, Hudson, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Josh Hughes.
Reflecting on her wedding memories ahead of their first anniversary, LeCroy fondly recalled the moment when Randle first saw her in her gown. “I went against the rule of having a first look. I wanted him to have that initial reaction of seeing me walk down the aisle. And that was probably my favorite moment,” she shared.
The sight of his emotional reaction made a lasting impression. “His eyes were a little watery, but thank goodness he wasn’t crying, because I would’ve lost it,” LeCroy added. “I’ve never seen him cry.”
