Reality TV’s younger generation is already engaging in playful rivalries. Cory Wharton, a star of “The Challenge,” recently shared a humorous anecdote about his daughter Ryder, whom he shares with Cheyenne Floyd, clashing with Dream, the daughter of Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna, over who holds more celebrity status.
During an episode of MTV’s “Official Challenge Podcast,” Wharton revealed that Ryder, 7, and Dream, 8, are classmates in the second grade. “I told Ryder, ‘You don’t argue with a Kardashian,’” the 33-year-old “Real World” alum joked last Thursday, adding that he advised his daughter to steer clear of such debates in the future.

Wharton said he often needs to remind Ryder to stay grounded following her interactions with Dream. “All she’s ever known is being on TV,” he explained. “It’s important to keep them humble and aware that this is just a part of life, not everything.”
The “Teen Mom” star emphasized that Ryder and her half-sisters Mila, 4, and Maya, 2—whom he shares with girlfriend Taylor Selfridge—don’t see their parents as cooler because of their reality TV fame. “For them, it’s just normal,” he said.
Ryder first appeared on camera in 2018, while Dream’s birth was captured on “Rob & Chyna,” which aired for a single season in 2016. Dream later became a regular on “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” until its conclusion in 2021 and continues to appear on Hulu’s “The Kardashians.”
Recently, Dream launched her own Instagram account and made her New York Fashion Week debut, walking the runway in a stylish outfit at the Zeus & Lexi Kids fashion show. Though Rob Kardashian didn’t attend, Blac Chyna, who co-parents Dream and shares a son King, 12, with Tyga, proudly supported her daughter at the event.
