A man has leveled accusations against Sean “Diddy” Combs, claiming in a recent interview that the music mogul subjected him to extreme abuse and assault. Speaking anonymously to CNN, the accuser, identified as John Doe, described the alleged incident, stating that he begged Combs to stop while experiencing unbearable pain.
Doe recalled that Combs appeared detached during the attack, which allegedly occurred during a White Party hosted in the Hamptons in 2007, though discrepancies exist between his interview and earlier lawsuit filings.
Initially, the complaint mentioned the assault happened in 2006 and noted that Doe had never married due to trauma from the event. These details have since been revised by his attorney, Tony Buzbee, after CNN highlighted inconsistencies.
In the interview, Doe said his role as a security worker brought him to the party, where Combs allegedly offered him excessively strong drinks. By the second drink, he felt incapacitated, leading to the assault inside an SUV. Doe claimed another high-profile individual witnessed the event but refrained from identifying them.
Combs’ legal team refuted these allegations, asserting the claims are fabricated and pointing to inconsistencies in the timeline. They also criticized Buzbee for allegedly pressuring clients to file baseless cases. Meanwhile, Buzbee has dismissed these accusations, maintaining his commitment to seeking justice for his clients.
The accuser stated that after reporting the alleged incident to his manager, he was ostracized and blacklisted from his profession. Struggling with mental health challenges, Doe emphasized the need for anonymity to protect what remains of his personal life.
Combs, currently incarcerated in Brooklyn on unrelated charges, has denied all allegations of sexual misconduct. Facing multiple lawsuits and criminal charges, the former rapper awaits trial while maintaining his innocence.
