Embarking on a new chapter in her life, Cariba Heine has shared the exciting news that she and her husband, Matt Pong, are expecting their first child. The actress, known for her role in H2O: Just Add Water, made the announcement on Friday, December 20, through an Instagram post featuring her standing in a pool while cradling her baby bump.
In her caption, Heine reflected on the journey of pregnancy, writing, “Spoilt doesn’t even cut it but pregnancy is HARD WORK. So I’ll take it. Thank you for @oocapetown I feel very celebrated (and relaxed after that massage).”
Earlier this year, the African-Australian actress and Pong celebrated their love with a picturesque wedding in Tuscany, Italy. On Monday, June 24, Heine confirmed their marriage on Instagram by posting a photo of the couple sharing a kiss against a backdrop of vineyards and floral arrangements, accompanied by the simple caption, “We did.”
For the occasion, Heine chose a strapless gown by ASTON Bridal, adorned with button details along the back. Her hair was styled into loose, mermaid-like curls swept into a bun beneath a long tulle veil. Pong complemented her look in a light-colored suit by P. Johnson, paired with dark loafers and a pink boutonniere that matched Heine’s gown.
The wedding was attended by close friends, including Everyone Is Doing Great co-stars James Lafferty and Alexandra Park. Lafferty shared heartfelt congratulations in a series of photos from the Italian celebration, writing, “Congratulations Cariba & Matt you beauties. Thank you for lighting our way.” Among the images was a snapshot of him and his wife, Park, sharing a kiss by the ocean.
Park also shared her joy through Instagram, posting photos from the festivities. “Love under the Tuscan sun,” she captioned her post, which included her wearing a vibrant yellow dress at the reception. She added, “Truly the most magical time celebrating Cariba and Matt 🤍🤍.”
