An exclusive source has revealed that Jennifer Garner “would love” for her ex-husband Ben Affleck to join her and their three children on Christmas Day. Typically, Garner and Affleck alternate their time with the kids during the holiday season, but she has extended an invitation for the entire family to celebrate together this year if he is interested.
The former couple, who ended their 10-year marriage in 2015, are parents to Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12. According to the insider, “Christmas is one of Jen’s favorite holidays, and she would love for the family to be together as often as possible for these occasions.”
Both 52, the “Batman” actor and the “13 Going on 30” star teamed up on Thanksgiving to assist the Midnight Mission in providing meals to 2,000 homeless and near-homeless individuals before enjoying a feast at Garner’s home in Brentwood, California, with their children.
As the source mentioned, “Jen and Ben have a really friendly co-parenting relationship, and she knows the kids had a wonderful time being together with both parents on Thanksgiving.” Their reunion occurred three months after Jennifer Lopez, 55, filed for divorce from Affleck, on the second anniversary of their wedding in Georgia, which took place after their Las Vegas elopement on July 17, 2022.
Previously reported, the Oscar-winning actor felt “blessed” to be surrounded by Garner and their children on Thanksgiving following his separation from Lopez. “Although Ben and Jen have been apart for some time, he feels a certain level of comfort with her,” an insider shared with Page Six at that moment.
The source added, “Ben has a strong relationship with Jen that will never dissipate because they have a lot of history together, and she’s the mother of his kids.” “They will always remain close due to their shared children and their amicable co-parenting relationship,” the insider noted. Garner’s representative did not respond promptly to Page Six’s request for comment.
