The Good Doctor is a medical drama series. It is the remake of the South Korean series. Daniel Dae Kim had bought the rights to the series and served as the producer. The series stars Freddie Highmore, Antonia Thomas, Nicholas Gonzalez, Hill Harper, Christina Chang, Will Yun Lee, and Tamlyn Tomita in lead roles. Here we will talk about the stuff that happened in Episode 6 and things to expect in the newest The Good Doctor Season 4 Episode 7.
What happened in Episode 6?
Someone comes across a veteran named Ben whose been having flashbacks due to his time in Afghanistan. Dr. Lim takes over to give him treatment with assistance from Claire. Meanwhile, in another hospital, ever since Alex and Morgan have started living together, they started having petty bets against each other, which has now taken over their work life. Dr. Lim figures out that something is up between them since they both are dressing weirdly. She sends them home for being foolish, inappropriate, and wasting everyone’s time.
While this happens, Dr. Lim comes across a woman named Rose, who claims to be an empath. She says that she can feel Dr. Lim’s blood pressure rising as her stress increases. This makes Dr. Lim uncomfortable, so she tries to avoid her at all costs. Lim doesn’t have time for her emotional and mental state as she has so many patients to attend to, and it will be too much to treat them all. This is why she gives this to her employees, but when someone like Claire goes beyond, Lim pushes back. Claire has found a cure that could heal Ben’s PTSD and give him a normal life with his partner, but Lim isn’t down for it.
With Ben experiencing PTSD, Claire opens up to Lin about her own PTSD diagnosis. While Claire means well for her, the idea of Dr. Lim being a stressful workaholic doesn’t make sense to her. It becomes apparent that her stress isn’t just affecting her life, but it’s affecting the relationships of other people around her.
When it came to Jordan, she snapped at her because she left an abortion procedure and changed her mind, because of her religious beliefs. Jordan said that she did not want to do it because of her Christian beliefs and Olivia stepped up in her place. Jordan changed her mind, and Claire reminded her of who not to disappoint. While Jordan tried to push through it, she couldn’t go through it. Which led Dr. Lim to lash out at her. She called her out and told her to take some responsibility in her life.
Shaun also gets scolded for his search to find a perfect present for Lea, along with him telling Dr. Lim what he will or will not do. Frustrated with Shaun’s testing her patience, Dr. Lim pushes him to teach. Even when he has a desire to take over a situation when it is easier.
Despite this, it doesn’t ease Dr. Lin’s stress, and because of her empath skills, Rose almost has a heart attack when she feels Dr. Lim’s stress way too much. Lim refuses to take responsibility for this because she asked Rose not to do this. Later, Rose leaves the hospital and ends up in an accident when she ignores her dizzy spells.
When will The Good Doctor Season 4 Episode 7 air?
Episode 7 will air on January 18th, 2021, and it will focus on the team trying to treat Rose and Dr. Lin trying to deal with her stress and work life. All the episodes are now available to stream on ABC.
