The Premise
The program is based on the adventures of Assane Diop, a professional thief whose father departed Senegal for France to provide his son a better future. This prompts his father to hang himself out of humiliation, leaving the young Assane orphaned. Assane swears payback, and inspired by Arsene Lupin’s writings, he intends to pursue sweet revenge by using his wit, charm, and acute presence of mind to assist him to get to his desired destination and reveal Pellegrini’s true character.

Lupin Season 3 Release Date
Lupin Season 3 is slated to release in 2022, though Netflix has yet to confirm an exact date. Lupin’s next season is set to begin taping towards the end of 2021. As a result, the next season is expected to premiere in 2022, with a strong possibility of happening in the first half of next year. This is because the first two batches of episodes are season 1 “parts 1 and 2”, which were shot concurrently. That is not the case, however, with part 3, which we refer to as season 3.
