The video plays, and we see the real Ushio appearing on the screen. Everyone is amazed as she announces she would be dead if anyone watched it. The shock doesn’t end there; we soon see shadow Ushio join them. Though there are mysteries in every episode, some of them are resolved as we go along. By the Time Summer Time Render Episode 10 hits, we will be wondering what new reveal awaits. And there is an apparent reason for that, as Shinpei was marked at the end of the last episode. While we don’t know its function, we discovered many other things. One of which was the events that led to Mio’s murder. Her murder was an accident of which there is no return. A part of me wanted her to be alive and reunite with Shinpei, but that won’t be happening.
Another thing that we learned in the last episode was why shadow Ushio is docile. She was created just like every other shadow but not in an unlimited capacity. As we see her original talk things over and figure stuff out. We learn what led to her discovering she wasn’t real. She wasn’t happy to know that and was shaken by it. While recording, she was worried if Shinpei would reject him for being a fake. But her original saves her from the dilemma by calling both of them confirmed. And as the video plays, the shadow keeps getting her memory back. We also see the point where she lost her memories. It is directly connected to the events of Original’s death. Now we also see her true motivation for why she wanted to help.
Summer Time Render Episode 10
The mark on Shinpei’s arm will be the starting point for Episode 10 of Summer Time Render. The pattern given to him is none other than the mother of shadows. She appeared out of nowhere in Ushio’s memory replay. While the ability to replay a scene as if it were a recording sounds nifty. Though, it loses the point if the god you are against appears and leaves a mark on your crush. As she reached him, the mother of shadows seemed to be taking the ability back from Shinepei. But Shinpei is left with something on his arm instead, which will help her track him in the future timeline.

What is Summer Time Render about?
Shinpei became an orphan at a young age, but his childhood friend’s family adopted him. Now Shinpei is returning after being out in the city for two years. Not for a reunion, though; he has come back to attend the funeral of his childhood friend (Ushio), who drowned while saving a child. Grimace by old memories and unfulfilled promises, Shinpei quickly learns her death wasn’t an accident but a possible murder. He is shocked by this, but he treats it as a rumor and moves on with no proof of it. He doesn’t get to be that way. However, it revealed that Ushio was murdered by a strange phenomenon described as a shadow. While supernatural forces are stacked against him, Shinpei gains his power. He can go back in time and start over from April 22. The day he comes to his hometown.
Yasuki Tanaka creates the series. Studio OLM adapted the work into anime.
