Minato Namikaze has been exceptional since the Academy days. After leading the village in the 3rd Great Ninja War, he got the title of Hokage to Minato. He became a very young Kage, but his rule was short.
He died at age 24, and he became Hokage at age 21. His sudden death is confusing to many anime fans, so let’s read on to find out details about Minato’s Death and when he died.
His death was inevitable because of the Reaper Death Seal, and he died in honor, taking the blow meant for Naruto. Minato Namikaze is the father of the main character Naruto Uzumaki.
He was born on 25 January and is one of the top ninjas in the world. Minato was invincible, and no enemy of prowess could kill him.
He died in the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox’s Attack, sacrificing himself to seal Nine-Tails into his infant son, Naruto Uzumaki. In the beginning days, Minato was thought to be the Child of Prophecy.
His reputation made enemies in villages shiver. Both Naruto and his father have fierce ambitions and blue eyes. Minato had unparalleled speed, strength, and a great legacy.
He had accomplished the title of Hokage in the third Ninja War. Minato was master of three nature transformations by the age of 24, like wind release, Fire release, and Lightening Release. However, he could never learn about Earth and Water Release.
Minato’s Death and How He Died?
Minato’s last wish was that Naruto would be a hero, and he believed that he would save the world as a Child of The Prophecy. Minato needed to make Naruto Nine Tail’s new Jinchuriki so he could make use of his strength.
The Nine Tails chakra was too strong for an infant, so Minato used the Dead Demon Consuming Seal to cut his chakra in half, sealing the Yin half in him. The Nine Tails tried to kill Naruto, but Minato and Kushina protected him with shields of their bodies.
Minato gathered his fading strength and summoned Gerotora, gave him the sealed key of Naruto, and sent him to Jiraiya. He sealed Nin Tails Yang half into Naruto, weaving Kushina’s chakra into the seal so he could train Naruto to control the Nine Tails’ chakra.
He programmed into it some of his own chakras. He communicated his last wish for Naruto to be a hero and not a monster of death. His soul was soon taken by the Shinigami, killing Minato.
The Nine-Tailed beast attacked the village, and Minato protected it with a teleportation technique. His wife, Kushina, the Jinchuriki of the Nine-Tailed Demon, was dying because the Nine-Tailed Beast had been taken from her body. She could only be saved by reentering the Nine-Tailed Beast inside her.
The Final Challenge
Now he had to protect the village and his family both. So he summoned the Gamabunta and used the teleportation strategy called Flying Thunder God to teleport both himself and the destructive Nine-Tailed Demon outside of the village.
The Reaper Death Seal gave the Nine Tails Beast back into Kushina. The power of the Nine-Tails was too much to be completely given to his wife. So he used another technique to seal half of it into his son.
The exhaustion and lack of physical strength also killed Minato. The curse of the Reaper Death Seal jutsu also killed Minato. The fastest shinobi was injured during a battle with Kurama, the Nine-Tailed Fox.
This killed him, after which he resurrected with the Edo Tesei technique during the Fourth Shinobi World War. He was controlled by evil Kabuto after he took Minato’s DNA.
He died again during the war and exchanged emotional words with Naruto. He gave his blessings on his 17th birthday, and he finally died again, leaving everyone in tears.
