Over a year and a half since the passing of her husband, Stephen “tWitch” Boss, Allison Holker, the So You Think You Can Dance star, has offered a peek into her new romantic journey.
On Wednesday, Aug. 28, she subtly introduced her new relationship on social media with a simple caption, “❤️.” The single post on her Instagram featured two shadows, with Holker appearing to be holding hands with an unidentified man.
Holker’s post marks a new beginning, showing her openness to love and life after heartbreak
The mother of three was showered with support from her followers in the comments. “❤️❤️Love has a way of finding its way back, even after the deepest losses,” one commenter began.
“Finding the courage to open your heart again after such a difficult journey shows the strength of your spirit and the beauty of the love you once shared. May this new chapter bring you joy, companionship, and peace, while you continue to honor the love that remains in your heart and embrace the possibilities ahead,” they concluded.
Another supporter added, “Life is for living and loving. You’re showing your children that it’s okay to keep living. ❤️ Wishing you all the happiness.”
After Boss’ passing in 2022 at age 40, Holker shared with PEOPLE how their children — Weslie, 16, Maddox, 8, and Zaia, 4 — have faced the loss of their father with “grace and kindness.”
“Our family was always close,” Holker explained. “But now there’s a new depth of respect, patience, and understanding. The conversations I’m having with my children are unlike anything I’ve seen with other families.”
“It came from something heartbreaking, but it brought us closer,” she reflected.
In June, Holker expressed her continued belief in finding love again.
“I always say, ‘Romanticize your life.’ Even after everything I’ve been through, I still want to live a big life. I still want love, to travel, and experience new things with new people — with my friends, my family, a future partner, and my kids,” she said.
Holker emphasized that she wants her children to see that it’s possible to trust and love again. “I’m open to it,” she added about the idea of dating again.
