Jackie O Henderson, renowned radio personality, recently shared just how long it’s been since her last romantic encounter. This candid admission took place during Monday’s episode of The Kyle and Jackie O Show, where the topic of “hooking up” led to Jackie, 49, opening up about her love life. When discussing the subject with her co-host Kyle Sandilands, she admitted that it had been “quite some time” since her last romantic involvement.
Curious about Kyle’s perspective, Jackie asked him what he considered an “acceptable” amount of time between flings. After a brief pause, Kyle estimated that it had probably been over four months for her. Jackie, in turn, confirmed Kyle’s assumption, stating, “Yeah, it is. It definitely is over four months.”

The conversation then took a playful turn as Kyle shifted his attention to newsreader Brooklyn Ross, asking if the same timeframe applied to the gay dating world. “What do you think ‘quite some time’ is in the gay world, Brooklyn?” Kyle teased. The newsreader humorously replied, “Oh, like a week, a week and a half,” to which Kyle responded by noting the different perspectives on time between relationships.
In recent months, Jackie had been linked to several younger suitors, often referred to as her “balcony boys,” spotted on the balcony of her Eastern Suburbs home in Sydney. However, Jackie revealed on air that her days of dating younger men were behind her. When asked about the age range she’s currently interested in, she admitted she is now focusing on men over 40. “It’s done,” she said of her younger dating days. “I’ve done [younger men], and that’s done.”
When pressed by Kyle, Jackie acknowledged that she’s had a few dates recently, though not with much younger men. “They’ve been like maybe 37, 38 years old,” she said, while still leaving the door open to dating men in their 20s. “I wouldn’t say no to that, for sure,” she added.
This confession came shortly after Jack Tyerman, a 30-year-old “toy boy tradie” previously linked to Jackie, debuted his new girlfriend, Asha Dillon, on Instagram. The two had been spotted on a date in May at the French restaurant Hubert, prompting speculation about their relationship. Jackie addressed the rumors on The Kyle and Jackie O Show, explaining that while they had gone to the restaurant together, Jack had simply driven her car, as they lived near each other.
