Lauryn Goodman has addressed misconceptions about her personal life, asserting she does not engage in casual encounters as some might believe. At 33, Goodman, who gained attention for her involvement with footballer Kyle Walker while he was married to Annie Kilner, and as the mother of their children Kairo, four, and Kinara, 13 months, is now looking for romance on E4’s Celebs Go Dating.
She revealed, “I think people have a preconceived notion about me. I’m not promiscuous—my upbringing was quite different.” Goodman elaborated on her past relationships, noting that her strict upbringing, where her father forbade boys upstairs, shaped her current views. She has had four relationships, including one long-term partner with whom she cohabited.
The rest were a mix of public figures and private individuals. Her reflections on her past, detailed in emotional conversations with dating agents, revealed her struggles with heartache and the impact of her parents’ divorce on her early relationships.
She described her first serious relationship with Marcus Butler, a YouTuber-turned-model, as healthy but eventually unsustainable due to their diverging paths. Goodman’s subsequent relationships did not fare well, with one long-term partner becoming complacent and disrespectful, leading to a painful breakup. She admitted that this experience taught her to be stringent with boundaries. Her later relationships, including a rebound romance, occurred during a vulnerable time and did not turn out as hoped.
