At the latest agency brunch, the former Coronation Street actress made a shocking announcement that left her co-stars and the agency experts in disbelief. She revealed that she had started a relationship outside the show, a development that led to her being pulled from future dates with other potential matches. However, Helen made a return in the episode aired on September 9, where she introduced her boyfriend, Robbie, for the first time.
During a casual meet-up at a local pub, Helen briefed Robbie about her recent activities on the show and proposed that he accompany her to the agency to meet experts Paul C Brunson, Anna Williamson, and Dr. Tara Suwinyattichaiporn. Helen explained to Robbie, “I came clean about us at the agency, and they’re interested in meeting you. It’s somewhat like therapy.”
Robbie, puzzled by the idea, questioned the need for agency involvement given their existing relationship. Helen clarified that the experts wanted to meet him as her boyfriend, viewing it as a form of relationship counseling.
Helen’s revelation sparked a backlash from the agency experts. Anna responded with surprise, “Excuse me? You have a boyfriend? Why wasn’t this disclosed earlier?” Paul also expressed frustration, accusing Helen of dishonesty and suggesting that she had misused their time by comparing other dates to Robbie throughout the series.
Helen, who has previously appeared on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, now shares the spotlight with other participants including Stephen Webb, Jamelia, Chris Taylor, Ella Morgan, Tristan Phipps, and Lauryn Goodman, who joined the series after Helen’s diminished involvement.
